—Whereas, a vacancy has occurred in the House of Delegates of Virginia, occasioned by the resignation of Thos F Goods, the Delegate elect from the county of Mecklenburg Therefore, I, JOHN LETCHER, Governor of the Commonwealth of Virginia, by virine of authority vested in the Executive by law, do hereby require an election to be held in the said county of Hecklenburg, on the first Thursday of December next, to fill the vacancy aforesaid according to law.
