—Ranaway, October 18, JOE, a dark mulatto; 23 years old; six feet high, weighs 180 pounds; well built, and very likely; bushy head of hair, and heavy beard; can read and write, but writes badly; came from Hardy county, Va; may have free papers. I will give the above reward for his confinement in jail, so I get him.
